About Kontabase
Kontabase is a small team in Tallinn, Estonia, building simple, honest company databases for B2B sales and marketing. We started in 2026 with one idea: buying a list of companies should be as easy as buying any other product online.
Why we started
Before Kontabase, getting a usable list of companies usually meant a long sales call, a yearly subscription and a contract priced per user. Small businesses, freelancers and growing sales teams were left copying records by hand from registers and websites.
We built Kontabase to change that. You choose a country, see the price and the exact fields, download a free sample and buy the file once. No subscription, no seat licences, no sales call. The file is yours to keep and use in your own CRM.

Where we are based
We work from Tallinn. Estonia is our home market, which is why our Estonian data is the most detailed: county, sector and legal-form breakdowns, city pages and an email marketing service. From here we cover company registers across Europe.
How we source and refresh data
Every record starts from official business registers and publicly available business listings. We combine them into one clean row per company, with a consistent set of fields, and add business emails and phone numbers only where they are publicly listed.
Data is refreshed on a schedule, and each database page shows its own last-updated date. Our data methodology page explains the process, the fields and the limits in full.
